For this project, I used SketchUp to create a 3d model of the Concert Hall at Carleton College. Here is the link to my project https://app.sketchup.com/app?hl=en. To create this project, I used four images that were taken of the Concert Hall. I started by creating the basic shape of the building. I then was able to add other lines as well as colors and textures to it to make it seem more realistic. The most useful features to me were the rectangle creator and the pan movement. The presentation of the data was very easy as I was able to recreate the four images I was given with my own model. I could not embed the SketchUp creation directly in my post so I added the four images and linked it instead. The significance of this project is that it is easy to visualize what a building will look like when you change some of the basic exterior designs or slightly modify it. I think that this tool could also be useful in looking to add on to the building or recreate it in another location. One further use could be looking to see what aspects of the buildings are done well and should be recreated without actually having to visit the building.
